The average Indiana teacher spends $460 annually out of their own pocket for students' supplies and enhancing their classroom experience. Our Foundation recognizes this, and many of our community members want to help, but don't know how. A teacher in an SBCSC school can create a Wish List of subject specific or grade specific items (under $300). We are unable to purchase decorations, food, or candy for your classroom. Please limit your list to educational items. Wish Lists will be funded as long as funding is available!
Once approved by your school's principal, we will purchase the items on your Wish List and have them sent right to your school. Please note that lists are asked to be as specific as possible by including links, brands, and quantity of items to ensure proper calculation of the amount requested. If you already have an Amazon Wish List, upload the link to make it even easier!
In the case that your request is larger than $300, please consider applying for a Teacher Grant instead.
All Wish Lists will be sent to principals for approval.
Wish Lists are limited to one per teacher per year.
Wish List items purchased by the Foundation become property of their school should a teacher end their employment with SBCSC.
